James Kronlage

MSW, LCSW

Mr. Kronlage became a Master of Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1993.  He has provided psychotherapy services as a clinical social worker in Wisconsin and Pennsylvania in private practice and outpatient mental health clinics, prior to his arrival in North Carolina in 2004.  Mr. Kronlage attained his ACSW in 1997, his LCSW in 2001 and his Diplomate in Clinical Social Work (DCSW) in 2003.  The DCSW certifies, through the National Association of Social Work (NASW), that Mr. Kronlage has fulfilled the education, training and expertise for advanced clinical social work.

 

Mr. Kronlage provides psychotherapeutic services to children, adolescents and adults.  He has extensive training and supervision in family and marital therapy, child and adolescent therapy and trauma therapy for children and adults. Mr. Kronlage also provides telehealth services.

 

Mr. Kronlage has specialized training and certifications in the areas of trauma therapy, and clinical supervision and has taught a graduate school course.  Mr. Kronlage received extensive video taped supervision for family therapy for six years. He completed Level II training  in EMDR in 2003. Additionally, he completed the Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy through the Advanced Training Institute sponsored by The North Carolina Child Treatment Program in 2007.

 

Mr. Kronlage completed advanced training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. Mr. Kronlage also received a Certificate in Clinical Supervision from the NASW and has been providing clinical supervision services for clinicians preparing for licensure since 2001.  Mr. Kronlage has also taught a Master of Social Work course, “Models of Intervention”, through the University of Pittsburgh. More recently, Mr. Kronlage has received extensive, up to date training for  ADHD, advanced trauma treatment for children, adolescents and adults, mood disorders, grief and telehealth services. Mr. Kronlage has also completed extensive training in Emotionally Focus Therapy (EFT) for couple’s therapy, and Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP) and Internal Family Systems (IFS) for trauma therapy.
